Join us for the first annual NWP Midwest Conference: August 3-5, 2018!  Connect with Writing Project writers, teachers, leaders, and learners from throughout our region.  The NWP Midwest Conference offers a unique opportunity for Writing Project educators to share their work and learn from experienced peers in the field.   This year’s conference will focus on four strands of writing project work:

  • Classroom Practices: Emphasis on teaching writing and issues related to teaching writing for practicing educators
  • Site Work & Leadership Development: Emphasis on professional development, innovative institutes, and youth camps
  • College, Career, and Community Writers Program (C3WP)
  • Digital Literacy

2018 Keynote Speaker: Troy Hicks

Hosted by the Greater Madison Writing Project, the NWP Midwest Conference will take place on the University of Wisconsin – Madison’s campus.

There will also be a special Friday pre-conference digital literacy workshop facilitated by Troy Hicks! Registration for the workshop is offered at a reduced rate of $50 for anyone also registering for the full conference.
